Barataria-Terrebonne Estuary Migratory Bird Curriculum educates teachers and students of grades K-12 about the birds and related habitats of the Barataria-Terrebonne Estuary and the priority issues facing the basins. This curriculum facilitates instruction for teachers by providing hands-on, inquiry-based lessons focused primarily on science and math content and skills. The lessons also provide easy access to birding materials necessary to teach students, as well as to environmental issues that have a direct effect on the bird populations within the Barataria-Terrebonne Estuary.
